Colors of Your Laughter

I hear your voice sing to me,

as if it were faint clinking crystalline.

In the distant colors of your laughter,

we danced away our ownership to a white nowhere.

And above the city lights that so dimly lit the sky,

merged into the silky glow of marshmallow stars

until we were malleable like water.

No Earthly created thing,

could justice the wonders I now hold forever dear.
