Always watching.

When you both swam in coke

And blankets, pizza boxes

Basketball animals cheering their coos

And the log-swatch in between the ball’s bouncing

At the live games

Or the flash of car lights,

And screams, to

“Get of out the car!”

But, I was always watching.

Cavities in my teeth

Cavities in bathroom doors,

Where I am nudged between urine and home-owner charm
